I have driven across the USA twice (literally a-cross, from Montreal to LA, and from Vancouver to Memphis), up and down each coast at least once, and this was my second trip across across most of Canada, this time from Prince George all the way to Ottawa. The last leg (Soo-Sudbury-Ottawa) was at night, and no, I did not thumb it all the way; I eventually broke and took a bus. The night stops on the map below are not quite right, but it gives an idea. Total distance 4300 Km!.
