The city was impressive, very imposing in the old soviet style, like a bigger version of Kiev. Judging by my 3 days there, it seems that it is always sunny and warm in St. Petersburg, and judging by the people constantly roaming the streets, the most profitable and secure professions are probably those dealing with women's fashion and its consequences (link).
