Wildlife Biology
This is the first course I taught. I thought that the situation was kind of weird, but it turns out it was typical of courses taught by sessional instructors: last minute hiring, no office, and not even a budget, not even for photocopying, because they did not know who was going to be teaching the course, I was told. However, the subject was my major as an undergrad, and I was luckily assigned one of the best teaching assistants ever, who supplemented and complemented my knowledge, and like me, was also a Guelph alumnus.

The background photo is me and a 2 year-old female black bear that was hit by a car and dropped off at an MNR field station where me and 2 other guys were based while radio-tracking deer, near Loring, Ontario, yes, close to the middle of nowhere.
